Your receipt (overleaf) is enclosed with the goods. This details the VAT payable and our VAT number. Please keep your receipt safe, as it is your proof of purchase and as such will be required if you have cause to contact us or the manufacturers. If you paid using a credit or debit card the transaction will show on your statement as Trading Direct Ltd.
VAT, Other Duties & Taxes
All prices shown are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated. VAT is automatically removed at the prevailing rate when an item is ordered for shipping outside the EU. Orders outside the EU may be subject to import duties charged by the receiving country for which we hold no responsibility; any local taxes or duties remain the responsibility of the customer.

If you have any queries, in the first instance please make sure you have read the instructions with the product. This is usually the best place to start if you aren't sure you've set it up right, or if you can't get it to do something it should do. If it is still not clear, a manufacturer's technical help line number is normally given, and these technicians are the best people to help.They have in-depth knowledge of their own products so this means they will be able to give precise instructions on how to use them. Returns - 14 Day Money Back Guarantee
You can rest assured that if you change your mind about your purchase the goods can be returned to us within 14 days. It may be the case that you feel you have not made the right choice but you still want a similar product. Don't worry, that is fine. We are independent retailers, and as such stock a range of products for you to choose from, so we can normally provide an alternative, more suitable product for you or you may request a refund of the cost of the goods less the delivery charge. All returns must be complete, in all their original packaging and undamaged as new. Any promotional gifts must also be returned or they will be charged at normal price. Please note that products with software, such as satellite navigation systems with accompanying map data, are excluded from the 14-day money-back guarantee, and are non-returnable unless faulty. We reserve the right to await confirmation of any fault from the manufacturers prior to issuing a refund or replacement.
If you return goods outside the 14 days (but within 30 days) or in any other way not in accordance with these terms, then a 10% restocking fee will be charged to cover our credit card, postage and administration fees. If you wish to return a product we ask that you contact us first for a Returns Authorisation Number and we can advise on the most appropriate way of returning the goods. Failure to do so may cause delays.
Warranties / Returns - faulty
Under the terms of the Sale of Goods Act 1979, faulty or incorrect goods should be returned to us within a reasonable time after purchase. You can request an exchange of goods, or a full refund. All products we sell come with a minimum of a one year's manufacturers return to base warranty, many are 2 years. In the unlikely event that your purchase has or develops a fault, you are responsible for the costs of returning it either to us or to the manufacturer for repair or replacement at their discretion, and we cover the cost of delivering the item back to you. We recommend that all goods are tested on receipt. It is expected that customers test received goods before starting any installation, as no liability can be accepted by Trading Direct Ltd for any installation costs. If you wish to return a faulty product we ask that you contact us first for a Returns Authorisation Number, and please ask us for advice on the most appropriate way of returning the goods. Failure to do so may cause delays.
