Limitator feature - fixed-position warnings issued only if the user is exceeding the prevailing speed limit
Motorway feature - warnings issued only for fixed speed traps which are sited on the motorway network
Directional feature - warnings only for safety cameras for the direction in which you are travelling
Fixed position warnings definable from 200m to 2,000m
Software for radar detector module reduces false alerts: no alerts issued under 30mph or under 70mph on motorways, no alerts issued for radar signals emanating from Gatso cameras on the opposite carriageway

With Radar
The Origin B2 is available with an optional radar unit. This an be purchased at the same time as part of package deal or separately. The radar unit will give you additional coverage for portable Gatso cameras and Mini Gatso's working on the K band spectrum. It will also tell you whether fixed Gatso cameras are active as you get closer to them (after your initial GPS based warning). With radar detection you also get false alerts unfortunately from other systems using the same frequencies. However, rather cleverly with the Origin B2 if you get a false alert if you push and hold button 5 (bottom right) for 1 second you can store this location as a false alert so next time you pass the same spot the radars audio alert will automatically be muted.
