It alerts you to all types of fixed speed cameras, red light cameras and average speed cameras (GATSO, Truvelo, SPECS, Traffiphot, Redspeed, Redflex, ACS, ATS, Nestor, etc…) as well as other known accident blackspots and common mobile speed trap sites, The warnings for common mobile sites can be turned off and you can even store your own personal warning locations.
Helps you to become more aware of your speed
The GPS speedo accurately displays your speed from behind the mirror glass. Advisory speed limits when you are approaching a camera to let you easily compare your own speed to the posted speed limit at that location. There is also a usefull overspeed reminder which remind you whenever you drive faster than your chosen setting.
Helps eliminate blind spots and improve night vision
One of the first things you notice about this product is the size. It's slightly larger than most factory mirrors, partially for cosmetic reasons to cover your original mirror, but mostly for safety reasons. Works at home or abroad and it's completely legal
The on-board Trinity database covers the USA and UK. Canada, Spain, France, Portugal, Scandinavia, the rest of Europe and Australia are actively being logged and will be available later in 2007. There are no ongoing costs, subscription charges or download fees. Camera updates are done through the internet and your Pc using a USB and a serial port.
Easy to use and easy to swap between cars
The spring-loaded adjustable clips make it easy to fit over 99% of factory mirrors on the market. The power cord can be hardwired or simply plugged in to your car's cigar lighter socket. If you want to swap your GPSmirror between two vehicles we recommend you purchase an extra power lead to fit in the second vehicle. This makes it easy to swap over in seconds.

*If you wish to integrate a comparible radar detector or laser jammer system, you must also purchase a Cheetah radar detector interface for the GPSmirror and/or a laser jammer interface for the GPSmirror.
Enhanced voice alerts for radar detectors and laser jammers
When you plug a radar detector interface in to a compatible radar detector, it's basic audio alert bleeps are muted and replaced by the enhanced voice and tones of the GPSmirror's alerts. Connecting a laser jammer interface to your laser system, replaces its LED and piezo buzzer alerts with voice alerts even if your original detector or jammer does not offer this feature.
Band Control
Choose which radar bands you want to hear alerts for on the GPSmirror – for example you can disable X band alerts if this is not used in your area. This helps to further minimise those annoying false alerts.
City Mute
In the city mode, the GPSmirror only plays the voice alerts for radar alerts. The tone alert patterns that usually follow the voice announcent are diabled. Please note that the laser alerts (laser jammer or detector) are not affected and full voice and tone cycle will always play during a laser attack.
