Early Parking Sensor Technology

When parking sensors were first developed we all thought that they were for those particularly hopeless at getting their parking right, that we were quite capable of parking the family car and that such technology would never really catch on. Oh how wrong we all were.

Though parking sensors have only been around for a relatively short period of time they are being employed by more and more car manufacturers and while still not considered as standard technology across all ranges, they are widely available as an expensive optional fitted extra or they can be retrospectively self installed on any modern car.

Modern Car Parking Sensor Systems

Due to the underlying technology remaining largely unchanged and the volumes in which these things are now made, the D.I.Y parking systems are reducing in price and becoming more and more commonplace.
