There are several ways of making sure your vehicle stays where you left it - the most common of these is a car alarm to deter car thieves by alerting you to any unauthorised interference with your car. This is closely followed by mechanical immobilisation where a programmed fob is required to be present within the vicinity of the car to enable the starter motor to engage.
