Snooper S1

The Snooper S1 is the entry level model Radar Detector for those who feel they need protection for their upwards creeping speed, by utilising the unique Eurotech 2000 detection system. Compact design together with excellent detection range makes this detector the best in its price range.

Radar Detectors
Radar Detectors (which also sense laser) work by alerting you to the presence of certain radar and laser frequencies utilised by speed enforcement equipment. Radar detectors are also susceptible to some false alerts in built-up environments caused by other systems working on the same frequencies, mostly pedestrian crossing monitors and automatic door sensors. Sensitivity to these frequencies improves with the higher models and they are also better at filtering out false alerts. Radar Detectors give you better warnings mobile speed traps than GPS only systems but cannot alert you to the digital speed traps known as SPECS and Truvelo.  

Mounting & Power Supply
The S1 can either be clipped to the sunvisor by the use of a 'caddy' or it can be mounted onto the dashboard with the use of velcro (supplied) . This Radar Detector has a coiled power lead which simply plugs into the cigarette lighter.

The S1 is a Radar Detector, not a GPS based detector. No Subscriptions are payable on this unit.
