Car Security
A car is for most people the second most expensive purchase they will ever make, after their house, and many people say they would feel lost without their set of wheels. So it makes sense to adequately secure your car and make sure it remains parked in the drive way, car park or wherever you last left it.
Secure Your Vehicle
You can protect your car in several ways. The most common is by using a car alarm, so should anybody take an unhealthy interest in your car, an alarm will trigger to warn off the potential thief by attracting not only your attention, but that of anybody else in the vicinity!
Car Immobilisers
This type of anti car-theft protection is closely followed by vehicle immobilisation. Immobilisation can range from the engine to a wheel or pedal lock or even a wheel clamp. An engine immobiliser is generally the most effective, although a bit more complicated to fit, while pedal or steering locks also offer a degree of visual deterrent. A wheel clamp would be recommended for less used vehicles and car attachments, such as trailers and caravans.
