The AML 428 is the third generation AML breathalyser that we have sold. Specifically designed for assessing your ability to drive, this unit will alert you when you give a reading at or above the UK limit of 0.8%BAC.
Reusable Breathing Straws
This unit will read from 0.2%C up to 1.2%BAC, 1 & ½ times the drink drive level. The AML 428 is operated by blowing into the supplied breathing straws which are rinseable and reuseable and gives a reading in under five seconds.
Pocket Sized Breath Tester
Powered by three AAA batteries (supplied) the unit is the size and design of a mobile phone. The slide to open action makes this sleek device both portable and discreet.
Operating Instructions
Slide open the breathalysers and keep and the PH symbol with flash five times on the display and then count down 19 seconds from PH19 to PH00. This is preheating the sensor for optimum results. After a single bleep sound the Ready and Blow sign will flash and the unit is ready to test. You have 15 seconds to submit your sample after which the display will go to Err. You need to blow steadily for 6 continuous seconds. The unit will bleep at the end of the 6 seconds and display your reading on the screen
